Happy day, friends! It’s time for my monthly series at Simon Says Stamp, Making the Cut. This series is all about die cutting and incorporating die cutting in to your paper crafting projects. The Scalloped Birdhouse is one of my favorite products from Simon Says Stamp and works for so many different occasions. Today I’m sharing how to turn this birdhouse into a spring-themed card with the addition of leaves, flowers, heart banners, and a bow to top it all off. Background stamping of the birdhouse and the card background add a personalized touch to the design.

This is beautiful, Nichol. You always make projects seem so do-able. I love hearing your process as you work your way through a card. I also love the LF speckled cardstock – very useful and versatile.
