For my card today, I decided to focus on a postage stamp–themed design, showcasing the new Tim Holtz Correspondence coordinating dies and stamp set. I also pulled in the previously released Love Notes stamps and dies to create this soft and dreamy Valentine’s-themed postage card.
Using some of my favorite soft pinks and Candied Apple red, I created a collage-style Valentine’s card filled with texture and layers. Other stamp sets featured in this design include the brand-new Field Notes die and stamp set for the label, the Reflections background text stamp, and the Worn Text alphabet set. I love how easily you can mix and match across different stamp sets for truly unique designs.
To soften the look even more, I added the Simon Says Stamp Lush Leaves and Beautiful Branch dies, die cut from some of my favorite Simon Says Stamp vellum colors. Lots of distress inking, stamping, and ink-smooshing went into creating this beautifully layered card.
