Simply Stars Quilt Along Week 1: Origami Blocks

Hello quilters!

As part of my new blogging home here on the web (with extra categories found along the top of the page), I am going to be sharing some of my other hobbies like quilting and cross stitch! I am super excited to announce that I am sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop for their Simply Stars QAL based on their brand new Simply Half Yards Book!

I am sewing my quilt with Camille Roskelley’s brand new Dwell Collection. I decided to go with only the greens and blues in this collection for this quilt.

  2. Nichol, your talent amazes me. I wish I could quilt. Your selection of fabric is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

  3. So very pretty with those colors and patterns in the material. When my daughter got married I sent a white block to all the people coming to her shower and made them make a quilt block of what she meant to them. They could use any medium. Her colors were white and silver so when completed, I constructed it, backed it with silver and then put silver bows on the front. It was so special.
