If you love creating elegant floral cards with minimal effort, today’s project is for you! I’m sharing a set of three postage-inspired cards featuring the gorgeous Yana’s Tulips Collection from Spellbinders. This collection includes Press and Foil plates, coordinating stencils, and sentiments that can be pressed or foiled, making it incredibly versatile for cardmakers of all skill levels.
For these designs, I combined the tulip florals and sentiments with nested postage dies to create a cohesive theme across all three cards. The coordinating stencils make adding color quick and easy, perfect for mass producing cards without sacrificing detail. One of my favorite techniques is foiling on colored cardstock (like the chiffon cardstock used here) and then blending ink over the top for a soft, dimensional effect.
I finished each card with silk ribbon and gold gems for a polished, spring-ready look. Be sure to check out the video below for a closer look at each design and how everything comes together!
