This vintage-inspired Valentine card is all about building layers and texture from the ground up. Starting with a plain white sheet of cardstock, I created a warm, distressed background using ink blending, ink smooshing, subtle text stamping, and splatter. The Lots of Hearts stamp set was stamped in two complementary shades of red to add depth and visual interest, then finished with a collage of mini tags and layered hearts. This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful layering and intentional distressing can completely transform a simple background into something rich and timeless.
